Shrunken Minds Craft Beer label design
Shrunken Minds is a Wellington based craft beer hobby brewery, particularly fond of their Pilsners and Pale Ales.
The label art focused around a tongue-in-cheek aesthetics, but otherwise I was told to have a free reign of style and variety. These were two examples I designed for their range.
Frightfully English Indian Pale Ale, I based off Elizabeth I of England (as she is about as English as they come). I went for a more pop-art style, making it more playful and accessible. In this case, Elizabeth is being a little cheeky…
Pilot Pilsner. This was asked to appear as a somewhat ‘cruisy’ beer. I opted for a chilled out vibe, depicting the cockpit of an airliner with the captain’s pilsner left out on the arm rest (not entirely sure how legal this would be realistically speaking).
